چکیده
Abstract Synthetic fertilizers are widely employed in agriculture relative to biofertilizers. Long-term use affects soil fertility, plant vigor, human and livestock health, the microbial community. Seaweeds were as biofertilizers sustainable overcome this issue boost agricultural productivity. Therefore, current study investigates effect of wheat seeds priming with aqueous extracts Ulva linza or Corallina officinalis seaweeds at various concentrations (5, 10, 15, 20, 30%). Wheat grains primed seaweed grown petri dishes, germination rate, growth attributes, physiological parameters, cytological traits, molecular analyses evaluated. The physico-chemical characterization revealed that U. possessed higher levels ash, soluble proteins, sugars, well essential macronutrients amino acids, than C. . Seedling characteristics, mitotic index all showed a substantial increase low both when compared control. Higher concentrations, on other hand, exhibited an inhibitory certain chromosomal abnormalities. In treated seedlings, new proteins expressed, which could be owing activity bioactive components extracts. As untreated PCR-RAPD analysis utilizing five markers triggered high weight DNA fragments, fragments specific each extract. Seaweed environmentally friendly soil-safe alternative typical chemical fertilizers.

Effect of Chromium (VI) on physical growth and biochemical parameters of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) seedlings
The effect of different concentrations of hexavalent Cr on growth and biochemical parameters of two T. aestivum cultivars (Punjab-11 and Sehar-06) was investigated. No significant inhibition of seed germination was observed in both the cultivars at all the tested concentrations (P ˃ 0.05). A significant decrease in root length for both the cultivars was observed at all the Cr concentrations as ...
متن کاملEffects of Gamma Radiation on Germination and Physiological Aspects of Wheat (triticum Aestivum L.) Seedlings
This investigation was carried out to determine the effects of gamma radiation on germination and physiological characteristics of wheat seedlings. Two wheat genotypes (Roshan and T-65-58-8) were irradiated with 100, 200, 300 and 400 Gy. The results showed that MGT (Mean Germination Time), root and shoot length, and seedling dry weight decreased with increasing radiation doses but final germina...

Field experiments were conducted at Government Adaptive Research Farm Karor Lal Eason, districtLayyah, to study the impact of trace elements on uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and yield of wheat. The experiments were laid out in RCBD having three replications. Soil samples were collected before sowing of crop from 0-15 cm depth and analyzed for physical and chemical properties (textur...
متن کاملThe effects of nano TiO2 and Nano aluminium on the growth and some physiological parameters of the wheat (Triticum aestivum) .
Nanoparticles are atomic or molecular particles with at least 1–100 nanometer diameters. They have entered vastly into the world of agriculture and biology; this is because of their special effect and their unique features. Their unknown impact on living things and the ecosystems has caused a lot of concern. This research was done in order to study the effects of nano-TiO2 and nano aluminium on...
متن کاملSmoke produced from plants waste material elicits growth of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) by improving morphological, physiological and biochemical activity
The experimental work presented in this study was carried out with the hypothesis that plant derived smoke enhanced the morphological, physiological and biochemical attributes of a cereal crop, wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Furthermore, this study supported the hypothesis that plant derived smoke acts as vegetative growth promoter, inexpensive, rapid and most appropriate eco-friendly bio-fertil...
